The Awards Gala is a fundraiser for YWCA Sudbury. It celebrates exceptional women within our community. The event recognizes the ongoing efforts, dedication and leadership of the strong, talented, and selfless women who help shape our society. Proceeds from the event help fund a community conference entitled, The Power of Being a Girl to young girls in grades 7 and 8 in the Sudbury region. The conference focuses on the developmental needs of girls and young women. Topics such as healthy relationships, self esteem and body image are addressed in a forum of safety and inclusion.
