mysudbury.ca Offers Training Sessions For Local Community Agencies
Through the efforts of mysudbury.ca and its myCommunity training team, many local organizations have received training and are beginning to utilize their community workspaces in the myCommunity section of the portal. The portal was created by the community, for the community, to enable organizations such as yours to more effectively reach those you serve.

Nonprofit Library Network
The Nonprofit Library Network brings together The Imagine Canada – John Hodgson Library and the Social Planning Council of Sudbury with partners across Ontario to provide information, resources and training to support the successful delivery of their service, outreach and fundraising programs. Greater Sudbury Best Start Network
Greater Sudbury Best Start Hubs are family centres in schools - offering children and their families a place to meet, to learn and to grow together. Whether you would like to take prenatal nutrition classes, learn how to make your own baby food, provide socialization for your toddler or have a family outing, Best Start Hubs have all that and more!

Brighter Tomorrow Directory
The Brighter Tomorrow directory of prevention/early intervention services for children and youth is now available online. The Brighter Tomorrow directory contains information and services that promote the normal health, growth and development of children and youth and the ability of families to care for them. It also contains specific services designed to prevent children and youth from requiring more intrusive, long term services. The Brighter Tomorrow directory was produced by the Social Planning Council of Sudbury and mysudbury.ca in partnership with a subcommittee of the Ministry of Children and Youth Services' Local Service System Management Table (LSSMT).

Child Care Services
Programs that provide substitute parental care for children during some portion of a twenty-four hour day. Services may include recreational and developmental activities and snacks and/or meals as appropriate

Aboriginal Services
Included are services for aboriginals who are living on or off reservations in rural and urban areas.

Housing / Sheltering Services
Programs that seek to meet the basic shelter needs of the community by providing temporary shelter for people who are in emergency situations, home improvement programs, housing location assistance and a variety of housing alternatives.
